I was running a direct port kit on my built 420a and I was running an ebay clutch that was suppose to support up to 350 hp.

well the direct port kit is sold and the ebay clutch started slipping so I put in my old oem clutch with 140k on it. SO I need a new clutch that will be reliable and still hold down some good power for the weekends. any ideas on what type of clutch I should get?

Heres a picture of my set up. Built bottom end. no more nitrous

Here you go. I'm going with option 2! Good luck!
Jacks Transmissions LLC — DSM Clutch Selection

Uh huh... keep in mind the forum in which you're posting. It doesn't looke like that vendor offers services for the 420A transmission.

I recommend South Bend Clutch. It's been a while since I've dealt with them, but Andy used to be the man to talk to:

Is that the F1 clutch? Strange because I used it in my daily for over 10k (along with about 25 track runs). It has been installed many, many times (even on boosted vehicles) on our cars and Neons. Are you sure that you do not have an oil leak?

But anyway, SBC would be a great aftermarket choice.

no but I should have bought that clutch. I got the clutch from a company called eclutchmaster on ebay out of LA california. the page says the clutch is rated at 350 hp which is bull and I didnt even have it for a year.

and no oil leaks...
