Axles and LSD question

Hey guys,
I"ve done a whole ton of searching, e-mailed Driveshaft shop who told me to e-mail Sheppard racing and no neither of them can answer my question.

I'm currently building up a 420A 5spd and expecting about 400 chp. This is strictly a street car and Driveshaft shop told me their stage 2 axles will be perfect for my setup.
Now, I want to get a Quaife lsd, but no one can tell me if there will be any fitment problems between the axles and LSD.

Anyone currently running these together?

Thanks for the help guys.
Brian.

Why would there be? The Quaife unit has stock fitment, and so do the axles.

If driveshop cannot accomedate the power (although it should) I would look into Fidanza'a axles. They seem to know their stuff when it comes to drivetrain.

As for the LSD I'd recommend the Quaife or Helical. Both do the same. Stay away from OBX, they'll tear your synchros a new rear. Literally.

Thanks VelocitaPaola and Blitzeclips for your quick reply's.
Velocitapaola, I figured they would work with each other, as from what I can see they both say stock fit. I just wanted someone else to confirm that for me. I'd like to know that they'll fit before I spend $2000 on them. Also I live in Canada, so I have to have them come across the border.

I just find it weird that no one else could tell me this. Every e-mail I got back was to ask someone else...so finally I just thought I'd post it on here and hoped someone was using one or both products.

Thanks again.

There aren't a vast supply of 420a guru's, compared to 4g63. We're sort of the ugly step sister, when you talk about Eclipse and performance/mods, people generally think 4g63. You really just have to know where to look.

Just cruisin' through and caught this. Not for nothing but you may want to hold off on getting stage 2 axles. These stock axles are awfully strong (as long as you don't run into wheel hop problems). I would say stick with the stockers for now. I'm fairly sure that AWDynomite ran stockers with that kind of power. He just ate up tranny's

I actually ordered them tonight. Looks like I have to wait till Monday to order the LSD.
I figure even if the stockers are strong...since i'm rebuilding it and going with pretty much everything new, might as well replace these as well.
Last thing I need is to do this (when I've had everything apart already) and have the car leave me stranded. It's a small price to pay compared to everything else I have and I'm getting.
Thanks for the suggestion

Yeah, let's do a litle math;

Stranded + Canada + Winter = Screwed

OK, fair enough

Actually, this car has never seen a winter in it's life.
My regular car is a 2007 Subaru Impreza.
In the 6 years I've owned my Talon, I've put 15,000kms, (which I believe is about 10,000 miles). So ya, I don't drive it much.
And that's on a sock rebuild.
