hey all
i have a 95 eclipse gs with 108,000 miles on it. I think my clutch needs replacement, but im having a weird issue with my tranny too. first of all, my clutch doesn't engage or disengage unitl about 80 percent of the way to the floor, basically i almost have to put it to the floor before i can switch gears. also, when i am in a gear (any gear really), i can take it out of gear rather easily. sometimes it even pops out of 5th. does this indicate that i need to replace the clutch only, or do you think i have a tranny issue as well. ive never worked on a 420a clutch assy or tranny, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
