Columbus,
I recently had a 4g63 engine with 30,000 miles imported from Japan to replace my original 4g63 with 190,000 miles. Is there any torque / horsepower difference between the two engines (aside from the obvious fact that my motor with 190,000 miles lost so much power because it was shot to shit) or are they rated the same?

Upon a lot fo reading it seems to me that they are the same too. I wish I had one those thingies hmm what are they called... OH YEAH, Turbo LOL Have fun guys. Question on this thread? If I wanted to sell my RS whos payoff is 4600 so that I can get an gsx or awd tsi, are they cheap to buy? Would I be able to sell my car fast Too???
Thanks I know I shouldnt be posting here am sorry but I just want someones opinion on this I've been doing a lot of thinking and it seems like the way for me to go :)

Believe me, before I got my RS I was looking for a GSX or GST for 97-99. $4600, MIGHT cover half the cost. Maybe more if you pay the difference with CASH and talk to the salesman the right way. Commonly GSTs and GSXs of the 97-99 years range between $7500-$1150 if not more depending on milage and condition. Selling a GS shouldnt be hard, but you have a RS. Most big dealships that might have a GST or the very rare GSX might not want your car on their lot. Our auctioning price is very low (My friend's dad bought a RS for like under 2g's at one). It's all about the talk. If it's paid off I'd say sell your car to someone for $4600 (you can get that for it, more than likely more. KBB rates our car around 6 grand), take that money, combine it with what you've saved (Im hoping you've started by now) and buy the GST or GSX cash. Dealers love cash. And no they are not generally "cheap". Well maybe if you a salaried job or are in high school, working and live with mommy and daddy. :dsm: :talon: :laser: :thumb:
