if i plan to turbo later, will it actually improve anything if i remove the material that's over the front of the injectors?? seems like it would remove a large flow interference, right? i've already matched to the gasket and polished the runners a bit. thanks...trust

hey all, somebody answer this for me. i read on modernperformance.com about the extrude hone technique of polishing the neon intake manifolds and they say that they can produce 10 to 20 horsepower depending on modifications. i do know that the neon head is backwards from ours but if they can do it, so can we right? or at least almost as much?? i just borrowed the dremmel with the flex extension and i want to know what is the best technique for porting our intake mani's. i hear that bigger is not always better with these. should i remove all the material over the injectors? or just polish out the casting marks? somebody let me know cuz i have to give this tool back soon...trust

Go to www.2gnt.com and ask there lot's of guy's there port their own intake manis. I would say don't mess with the injector bosses except for maybe a polish. Those are set up that way for fuel spray patterns.
