420a turbo system?

i saw an ad for a Hahn Racecraft eclipse/talon 420a complete turbosystem. . .does anyone know anything about this?
 
thanks a lot hunter. . .do you know of anyone using that kit at all. . .id just like a lil feedback on how it is to install, and how it performs
 
Lots of people are using it if you look around (me included). If you do a search I think you will plenty of responses on peoples opinions already made.
 
I have the Stage 2 kit and it is great. Ready to move onto Stage 3 in the near furture. My car has 107,000 miles on it and I run 11 psi daily w/ no problemo's. Get it and make sure u get it with the FMIC option if u go Stage 2. It's a great kit and they have great tech support if you need it. Can't gop wrong!!!:D

Well, I'm sure people will be saying that until some more people come on here to help. I have seen a few people from 2gnt around though so obviously something is worth coming here for.

HRC is a good kit, Star is a good kit. NER might be a good kit but nobody really knows anything about how it holds up/performs etc...
 
JUST DROP STOCK A 4G63 TURBO MOTOR IN IT MAN AND JUST UPGRADE IT, ITS ALOT BETTER THAN THE 420'S AND U CAN PRODUCE MORE HP OUT OF IT. IT'LL COST BOUT THE SAME TOO IF NOT LESS. EVERYTHING IS JUST SOMUCH DIFFERENT ON THE 420'S. LIKE THE TB, THE INTAKE RUNNERS, THE TURBOS, EVERYTHING IS JUST MUCH SMALLER ON THE 420A, IF I COULD FIND U THE PIC OF THE DIFFERENCES I'LL POST IT UP!!! DON'T TAKE IT THE WRONG WAY JUST GIVING YOU AN IDEA.
 
thanks for the suggestion marc. . .are you sure it would cost the same, and if it does, i would end up paying more, cause i am not mechanically inclined. . .LOL, i need a set of instructions, or id have to pay someone to do it for me. . .ya know, typical newbie, LOL, but yea, thanks for the advice, ill consider it
 
I think this subject was touched on in the past couple of days I have been lurking alone. Do a search and you will find info detailing what is involved in a swap. The ultimate answer is not worth the headache or cost to swap motors.

I have been planning on adding a turbo to my 420a.
Yet, I have been unable to find a generic turbo (LOL!).
If I happen to find one I'll tell you.

Wow that's going to be a pretty extensive illustration since EVERYTHING on the 420a is different considering it's a whole different motor. But you're right the stock turbo on the 420a is REALLY small

You might want to stick to the turbo section since you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.
 
ya know, the 4g into a 420 bay is not logical
the drivers side mount where the head mounts to car is not there. the passenger side one is in wrong place.

lots o money, buy a turbo car.
or turbo the 420
easy to build, a motor can be torn down and built back up running in a day and a half {if you have all the parts}
one of the easiest motors i have built.

just the timing belt sucks ass
 
I'm from the 2GNT board as well. (Danny95esi over there) You should really go check them out. Plenty of advice/instruction/support there.

Heh heh....people like Marc will get eaten alive if he ever posted that kind of blasphemy there. Plus stock 420A turbos are SO small, I can't even find mine in my engine bay....LOL :laugh:
