Would you guys suggest an engine swap from a 420a to a 4g63 or just adding a turbo kit to the 420a? Also if i got the kit how many modifications would i have to do to the engine internally?

no swap, forget about it. If you dont want to go really in depth even though you should. Go with a smaller turbo kit, your internals can handle close to 300 hp. But, i wouldn't suggest running turbo or alot of nos on our engine, unless you build the internals first.

it really isnt worth going through all the effort of swapping in the 4G63, in all honesty it would be easier and cheaper to just get a GST. I personally wouldnt recommend either, you should just turbo your car as Im doing. Our cars really cant support 300hp w/ the stock bottom end (well maybe at the crank, but definitely not at the wheels and that would be risky). Our cars can be boosted reliably as long as you take certain precautions. Once you decide to build the bottom end (rods and pistons) the sky is the limit (as long as you supply the necessary amount of fuel). I have decided to go with the NER kit, but there are also the STAR Blue Ribbon (which is really expensive) and HRC kits. But with a stage 2 Kit you should definitely be more than competitive with GST's.
