Heat wrapping intake??

Would it benifit me at all to heat wrap my intake pipe?? To keep the heat of other engine parts out so the air going into the engine is cooler? Would it be cooler? Would this have any effect other than lightening my wallet??

It'll hold in whatever heat gets put in by the compressor and the IC doesn't remove.

I'd spend it on exhaust wrap, and water injection.

well seing as hes an n/t, he doesnt have the turbo heat.....and it will help, especially if the air is coming from a nice cold sorce, out of the engine bay.
how big of a benefit you will see.....i personally have no idea.
