Why won't my 92 run with a 90 motor?

I bought a 92 talon n/t w/bad motor, and i swapped it with a stron ronning 100k mi motor. when i start it, it runs rich and wont rev past 3 or 4 grand. Iv'e tried every thing swapped out every sensor there is under the hood , and even tried all of my other 12 ecm's, and still no good

haha...my motor went in my 90 car..and my mechanic swapped in a 92 motor....he said he had to re wire #@%#@%#@%#@% to make it work properly though....so i duno

But what did he have to re-wire, and where? And on a different note Iknow some people in Medicine Hat just thought i'd share that!!

i have no idea what he had re-wired...but i dont think it was that big of deal..cause he likes to complain about these cars and well he never really mentioned it being a pain in the butt...haha thats weird ur from michigan how do u know peeps in the hat?

Well I meet a girl on vacation (holiday as you say) about 12 years ago and we still talk ocasionaly(sp?)But now she lives in Lethbridge (sp?)

he jjust rewired the main harness to the ecu or ecm, sometimes when you swap, you have to add or subtract some options from the previous engine, sometimes even swap ecus or ecms.
