My first time at the strip

I went to the track and ran a 16.5, 16.6, and 16.7 twice. I was wondering if this ia any good for Non-Turbo. I posted on the track discussion but so far there was only one response. Can anyone post their non turbo 1/4 mile times as well.

15.9 with my 93 n/t. The engine was pretty beastly and was gutted to nothing. No balance shafts, cold air intake, ported exhaust manifold, no interior or spare tire, 8mm wires and hot plugs, ported exhaust side of head... blah blah. It was a n/t so it was slow.

those are pretty close to average for stock/lightly modded NT....my best run when i was NT was [email protected] with the following mods-

-greddy header
-CAI
-centerforce clutch
-bored TB
-crane #12cams
-cam gears
-gutted interior
-apexi catback
-no driving skill whatsoever -2.4 60' time..

since i have gone turbo my best run was a [email protected] in intense heat and boost leak and 6.5psi....

I ran 16.1 with a 2.4 60' time. I couldn't get any better of a time than that but i was getting great launches, and i have good tires... but i have pacesetter header, apexi N1 muffler, Injen CAI and thats it. If i would have lowered my front tire pressure i think i could have pulled out a 16 flat but oh well i'll probably never go back to the track. whats the point, its slow...
