ok, i am new here, I have "switched sides" from purehonda, honda-tech, everything else .. i am in love with dsms now, and starting to learn more about them.

anywho, i might buy a '95 talon esi off a friend, it needs a new head, the timing belt broke, valves 'bumped' pistons, there was some oil leakage and other crap so it needs a new head.

i'm still lookin/researchin for a turbo set up, i dunno which turbocharger i'd use, i havea few layin around right now. as for the rest of parts:

turbo manifold, custom downpipe, 2.5" madrel bend cat back, high flow cat, intercooler from iboost.com, charge pipes, oil lines, coolant lines, 1G BOV, turbo X's boost controller, bigger injectors, fuel pump, apexi AFC, boost and oil pressure gauges.

my question is: for injectors and pump ... what size should i use? and could i use the injector/pump off of a gst?

i only anticipate running 8 PSI, of course this is not a turbo engine so it cant take more than 10lbs, but 8 would be safe. everyone has told me to straight up buy a turbo model (me612) ... but i dont have the money, i have some parts for the turbo set up already, and have access/hook ups, so it would be a fun project to complete and sell .. then i'd have $$ for a turbo model, thanks everyone!!

street sleeper - the Hahn kit costs a lil too much, i can set mine up for less than have the price of their kit. Sorry 'bout postin this in the other forum, I suppse it does make sense puttin it in here, but as a "newbie" i thought i couldn't leave the other forum. haha, thanks dude!

if you are putting turbo on it very quickly then go 3" catback, but if not go smaller for now, and with the pump and injectors, its kinds trial by error, because since they have some many at differrent levels than your experienece is different than the next guy, so go off of the rating the manufacturer gives you and see where you fit. and go from there

You will not be able to use anything off a 4G63. Difference in impedance.

Search for some Ford SVO injectors. They are saturated and fit perfect. You can also use some off an LT1. You can buy them in 8 and split the cost with someone else looking. They come in varying sizes and is the cheapest route. Seeing you have an AFC, stick with a 36lb/hr at most with a 32lb/hr being preferable for your setup considering the power level. For fuel pumps, at the least obtain a standard walbro intank fuel pump or equivalent. Get the high flow version as it will save you trouble of having to swap it out later down the road. Get a decent regulator like the vortec which is popular with the 420A crowd. You are probably only going to run a 3:1 regulator at the most which will provide plenty of fuel for what you are doing. Something else to consider is getting a thicker MLS head gasket from azizi which is an off the shelf application. This will provide an extra layer of protection by lowering your compression. You will still have a limit on how much power you can make but at least you have a larger window of tuning to get to that limit.
