How much hps?
1/4 mile times?
Modifications?

I was just wondering who has the fastest 1.8L? What's the fastest you've topped out at? Just all the basic questions.

i wasnt really trying, because i wasn't on the track but i have hit 120 in mine and it still had a lot left. i havent gotten the chance to see what the 0-60 times and the 1/4 are but mine is pretty close to stock.

Uhmm i never took my car to the track because I dont want to be embarrased. But I did try to race an integra once on the highway and it wasnt fair because the integra cut me off and thought that he won the race. But a little bit later i passed him at about 115 mph. After I passed by the integra a GSX fly's by me. My car was fine. We may not have the fastest car but I think our cars are reliable.

I was on the interstate today and I got it up to about 124 mph. I also raced with a friend of mine..who has a 2000 VW Jetta automatic, he couldn't hang with me. I have a FlowMaster Muffler and a semi-gutted stock cat. I also took the silencer out of my air intake. I found an old intake hose and I think I'm gonna run a ram air thingy with the old intake hose. I just got a new job so I'm gonna start modding the hell out of my 1.8L. I'm gonna get some new rims and tires, the rotors with the holes drilled in them, 2 1/4" pipe, K&N Air filter. I think when I go the muffler shop I'm gonna have them custom fabricate a 3" intake pipe for me. I'm sure they can do it. I'm figure I'mma get my cat setup for when I get my turbo.

3" INTAKE pipe..replacing my Rubber intake hose..not my exhaust. I'm gonna use 2 1/4" pipe for my exhaust.

I'm not sure where I'm going to get my turbo from, but I know I'm gonna pull the manifold off of an old mirage/colt..and a few other things. I'mma do more research on the 1.8L turbo setup so I know exactly what I'm lookin at. I'll try to keep peeps updated with some pics and all.

Do you have a 1.8L? No, so why do you bother posting stupid #@%#@%#@%#@% like that?

I think we should just drop this. We all have the same cars which are DSM's we shouldnt be dissing each other. We should be helping each other. Why cant we all just be friends;)

I agree with grn1g but there is always dumb asses like LaserLX who put there 2 cents in where it doesn't belong. By time I'm done with my car I'll be able to whip your ass and hand it to you.

hehe....not with your 1.8....what are your plans for it?

front mount intercooler, turbo (not sure which one yet), 2 1/2" pipe, bored out cylinders with bigger pistons, performance cam shaft, lighter rotors, highflo cat, and many other things.

that sounds good, but still why to people bash eachother about engine size, because no one knows what engine in what setup will beat what on a particular day, dont say something stupid, it makes you seem unreliable as in giving info and some day the motor or car you are dissing will beat you. so dont be so narrow minded
