I just put my friends GST muffler on my GS and it gives it a lot deeper and throatier sound. Not sure if it adds any HP or torque but it sounds a heck of a lot better. I would recomend it to any one that is not putting exhuast or anything on their car for a while. :dsm:

Stock GST muffler on the non turbo is a very good decision. It flows better than our stock ones plus it's cheap and bolts right on... I kind of wish I would have done that now since my car is lightly modded.

oh yeah i love the sound of it and for 20$ it sounds better than some stupid grapefruit size bumble bee coffee can. Im also loooking at the Intake Temperature Sensor mod by putting a resistor in it. We was discussing it at school and was wandering if there is any negative effects of it.

This is exactly what I wanted to hear, I just picked one up a while ago, and I'm gonna put it on once I finish my header project... yup, I said project... who knew 2 bolts would be so time consuming?!?! OMG

i havnt bought any headers yet but would like to have some...if anyone knows were to get some cheap ones let me know. Im also glad to see other people using the GST mufflers:) :dsm:

I have the Pacesetter header, and from what I've heard it will work just as good as any other header on the market for our cars. I got mine from a place up in New Hampshire that was a sponsor on here, but I can't remember the name of it (they're not in the sponsor section anymore). But I do remember that when I was shopping around that ptuning.com had prices that were just as low.

Keep an eye on the posts in the classifieds here. I had to kick myself cuz when I was looking for mine months ago. I responded a day late to a guy who had a complete Greddy header kit that he would have sold me for $150. He sold it to someone else very quickly. Oh well.

yea i love my gs-t exhaust, you get alot of compliments with the deep sound. best thing is it only gets deeper with rising rpms unlike alot of aftermarket exhausts. This exhasust can get you to like 200hp and best thing is our cat back system is better flowing than a gs-t. we have one less bend and resinater than the gs-t does.

Looks awesome, can't wait to put mine on... when I got it it was pretty rusty on the surface so I took the tips off and shined them up, sanded the muffler down, next I'm gonna put 1200 degree black paint on it to keep it from rusting further, then I'll be putting it on...

I'm too much of a perfectionist, I coulda had it on weeks ago...

thats a pretty good idea cause i never thought about painting mine or anything. Anyway i did have to clean my up because it was pretty dirty but it looks alright now.. What did you use to shine the tips up?:dsm:

Oddly enough I used Lysol Direct cleaner that we happened to have around the house... it was the only cleaner that didn't have a warning against using on metals. It turned out really nice. I just sprayed them in the sink, rubbed them down with a non-abrasive sponge and rinsed under hot water. Took me about 5 minutes.

I have a feeling that I'll be taking the tips off my car frequently to do this once I have the muffler on.
