i was wondering what is the perpose of coilovers do they give you a smoother ride. or are they just for dropping the car. and are they hard to put on cuz i was gonna get some off ebay, but i kinda want some more info on them.

thanks joe

i think you are posting in the wrong section.

btw, in most cases they are very easy to put on if you know what you are doing and they usually sacrifice your ride to a degree depending on how much you spend on them.

coilover are ment to let you ajust corner weight on your car for better handling. if you dont already have good ajustable shocke i say dont buy any coil overs. a good shock is a much better investment go for a koni or somthing of that grade, good shocks on stock or cheep springs ride and handle better than good springs on stock or cheap(non ajustable) shocks

DO NOT GET EBAY COILOVERS

a good set of coilovers shout cost upwards of 600 bucks.... not the 150 buck crap they sell in ebay...

good luck with what you decide :dsm:

Not to horn in on the N/T forum, but this seems to apply to turbo's as well. Who the heck makes E-Bay coilovers anyway?
