Please someone Who make these that I can put on my NT? anyone help thanks.. Been looking and everything for 1st Turbo's... Will some of it work for my NT? 1G?
 
injen makes an itake, and lots of people will do custom work, thats how i'm getting mine done. there are a few companys that make headers. i know pacesetter does(thats what i have). ive heard of others but i only have experience with the pacesetter. its decent, but the paint that came with it burnt off in about 2 minutes flat, and i had to clean up some welds on the inside with a die grinder. didn't notice huge power gains, but a little quicker throughout. my only other mod is a k&n and hacked air can with a heat sheild(made a huge difference compared to stock, and more of a difference than the header) for exhaust go with either 2.5 or 2 1/4 inch piping all the way back, and a high flow cat if you area needs it with a nice exhaust depending on your preference. when i do my exhaust i dont want it to be stupily loud so that im not a cop magnet. i'm going with a magnaflow oval mufflerwith dual tips to keep the stock apperance. should be good. any exhaust that fits a 1g turbo fwd will fit a n/t or you can get it custom made at any exhaust shop.

go with a injen intake, pacesetter headers, port the headers inside the flange around the welds, get a 2.5 hi flow cat (but not pacesetter. i went through 4) and go with a pacesetter ca back. the pacesetter cat back muffler sux, so cut it off and get a 2.5 apexi n1 uni muffler and weld it on instead.

i has that whole setup and my car sounded nice. it screamed and i got massive difference in power. i had a 2.5 test poipe, pacesetter cat back and a injen intake. i had the pacesetter headers and i ported them out. i had my n/t up to 115mph on the highway down here and it was pullin really hard still. none the less i could pull the e-brake up at any traffic light and bake the crap outta the front tires. your clutch wont like it but youll like the smoke.:laugh:
 
Hmm thanks U2 for the input....I was thinking of going with the 2.5 cat back, and getting a high flow cat,along with underdrive pulley and taking my AC belt off. Also I would like to get a new and better tranny...any ideas? The thing I was really having trouble finding was thee INTAKE....And it seems a CAI is impossible to find for these...Hmm Well I just got done putting in a JDM 4G63 And I think it might have a couple more horses then the stock engine... but not much.. It doesn't run quite right yet... Feels like a vacuum leak or something.. I need a new throttle body gasket I know and a new exhuast gaskets at the flange..Plus I have an exhaust leak somewhere in my pipe too... anyways If U get any new ideas let me know... actually the us 4g63 is a better choice in my opinion, the ### 4g63 has these butterflies in the intake manifold since its 2 peices. they open and close to control the airflow in the manifold. the us one peice turbo mani can flow up to 500hp if i remember correctly, which on a n/t setup youll never see over that.

as for the tranny, teamrip engineering makes some bad ass trannies but there not cheap at all. the tranny will be a weak link as i went through 4 in my talon. tranny was weak

if you want to stay n/t theres a bad ass setup i wanted to do in my talon and would have put 400hp down with a 100 shot of nitrous. 11:0:1 compression, 4g64 crank, worked head to a point,injen intake, full 2.5 exhaust, 350-450cc injectors which ever you feel is better, total seal gapless rings, cleavitts all around and you should keep up with turbo guys all day long. if you really want to know how to do it i have all the info. i can also get the whole stroker kit.




as for the n/t cai, nobody on the face of the earth makes one for the n/t 4g63. quit looking and get the injen. its good and a cai does not exsist. ive looked for over a year. figured i let you know:thumb:

Well I have some good news I just picked up a 91 TURBO So now I have both..And I must tell U it is really!!!!!!!!!!!FUN to Drive...It has a short shifter,17inRims..New Exhaust,Intake on the Turbo,4in Pipe,And very clean..It has some dents...but other then that it is really really clean inside...I got it from the Insurance Auction..For would U believe 500!!!!! Bucks.....It runs better and smoother then My NT that I just put a low Mileage JDM motor IN...WOW..So now I think I am going to just part out my NT..And put the engine into something with a better body as mine looks like a hail storm hit it..and the paint is faded,,along with alot of other stuff...Anyways not sure...But I might just keep them both..Thanks for all the POSTS GUYS AND GALS (IF ANY) So na90dsm U say go with The injen.. What do they run? Well this is long enough..so peace

The website is very simple.... www.iaai.com just make a name so u can log in and view the big pics.....the scoop is most of them are open to the public..some are dealer only... U pay a 200.00 yearly membership..on which when it expires it's up to U if u want to renew it...
