I just bought a 95 eclipse gs and started looking through this whole website. I went to a shop to get prices on parts and he can get me pulleys from topspeed for only 95 bucks...does anyone have this brand and what is the quality like? Likewise for the intake, thats only 175 for a cold air intake, anyone have this?? thanx
 
This prise 95 is for one pulley I supoust cuz normal set of crank,alternator,poerstering cost about 350-400$.DO NOT buy pulleys,noth woth the money.Cold air is :thumb: .But I made mine myself and it cost me only 10 $ and it is better then the one that u would buy cuz there is not danger of water geting into the intake when it is raining.But cold air is very good set up that is worth the money.
Get header and cat back with high flow cat or test pipe(it is iligal).
 
a UDP is not worth it? what you smoking man......do you know what it does?probably not. Well anyway, topspeed is in Plano correct? never really done business with them but if you get a UDP, AFX is the way to go and it IS worth it. www.howellautomotive.com the UDP they have (which I heard is great) is $140.

if your looking for a CAI I have a AEM V2 which is for sale, if this guy Im talking to doesnt come through, I wouldnt have a problem selling it to you. $150
 
Just to show u that u dont know what u talking about I ll tell ya just this:
U think UDP good cuz u herd they good.I think they not good cuz I test with them and with out them and all I got was 1hp on the wheels and that was all and Im not sure if it was from them or not.So dont tell him to spend 400$ for UDP cuz it is not worth the money.Ig u buy 1hp for 400$ imagine how much u have to spend if u want to have 50HP gain?
Try not to spend more then 30$ for 1hp gain.And also that 145$ that u say it is for one (1) pulley only.
 
haha......its obivious you have no experience with the 420a, otherwise you would of known that NO company sells a full pulley kit for the 420a (unless TOPspeed made a kit, which would be the first ever).But as far as I know there is only a UDP ($145, from the company I stated before) for the 420a and it IS WORTH IT if you don't believe me check this thread out

next time "racer" you should do some research on the product that is being questioned instead of posting useless information.
 
I wonder howmany of those ppl there have tested their cars at dyno?
And the funniest shit I ever herd there was that one udp is better then exhaust and intake WTF?and u telling me that im giving usless info DDD!
I made a test with my AC ON and OFF and the diference was I was down with 4HP while I was running my AC so so by chenging only one pulley u wont get any gain those guys there just think that they gain someting but whatever i dont care im telling my opinion.If u want go and spend ur money it is ur problem.
 
One thing that you're not getting through your head is that you two have completely different engines. The results you're getting are on the n/t 4g63, this guy and the people on the other thread have the 420a.

The other guys have personal experience with the UDP (420a) , which you do not have.

So don't post results and experiences for a different engine.
 
I dont realy think that there is much of a diference it is 4 cyl engine twin cam,but anyways good luck with UDP :thumb:

They both are a 2.0L DOHC but after that they have NOTHING in common.
