Pretty soon i will have my 4-2-1 header on. I was thinking about replacing my cat with a hi-flow one. Will i lose HP doing this?

Whats up. Since you have a N/T im assuming your Apex'i exhaust is 2.5 inch piping instead of 3. N/T cars strive off of some backpressure, so if you get the 4-2-1 header and the high flow cat you might lose a little power bottom end, but once you get up to about 4500 rpm youll notice an increase.. You might be able to solve your bottom end troubles by adding the silencer that comes along with your exhaust.. . might help with the backpressure. I know it looks kinda ghey, but oh well... if you care about performance..

a 4-2-1 header is better for torque than a 4-1 header so thats sweet. as long as your not taking the cat out completely, i wouldnt worry about it because catalytic converters provide alot of backpressure, even if they are high flow.
when i do my exhaust(within a week) i'm doing 2.25 pipe from my4-2-1 header back with a glasspack and magnaflow muffler...should be perfect
