got my 4G63 powered mirage running but...

Hey all to fill you guys in I Have a 93 Mirage and it now has a 4G63 non turbo motor in it, the car is quick but I have a horrible idle problem. The idle is irratic constanly revving High and low I don't have a tach yet but I guess it is idleing around 1000 rpm then up to about 2500 rpm or so it is hella anoyying and I get to many looks at the stop light. Can this be a sign of a bad ISC? or is it because I am running the 450cc turbo injectors? If it is the ISC does anybody have a quick fix until I can get to the junk yard to buy one? it could be a bad isc

also it might have something to do with your turbo injectors on an nt engine. do you have a turbo ecu and wiring harness running it all??? do you have an injector resitor pack to drop the voltage for the turbo injectors??

Yes I have got a harness and the the resistor pack from a turbo the ecu in the car is nonturbo though.

to know for sure if its your idle speed control, turn on the a/c at idle and see if the bad idling gets worse..also, when you're coming to a stop and you put the clutch in, does the engine seem like its gonna stall or actually stall out?? if one of does happen, its prob the isc..

but im definitely leaning towards your throttle position sensor.. i had the same prob with my 87 rx7.. i changed that and voila!!, bad idle gone!!!

I do have the 240cc nonturbo injectors in the garage but like I said I have the harnes and the resistor pack from a turbo car. (the car is atrue hybrid) if I swap the injectors out how will having the resistor pack effect the nonturbo injectors? I don't have A/c but the car idles very high when first turned on then like I said the irratic idle comes along, no stalling just like a surge type feel.(I hope all this makes sense.) tell me what you think.
