Need help buying a 95 GS...???

Here is the deal I found a 95 GS with 93k on it and the bearings in the tranny needs to be replaced, and the left side fender needs to be also replaced, and the car needs a little body work, but everything else looks fine. The guy is asking for $2.900, so I need to know if that is fair or not, cause I thought it's a pretty good deal. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

not too bad for that price, is it in the northeast ? if so make sure he did not hit a lot of pot holes and bend all the rims and such, maybe ask him if you can take it to your machanic to have it checked out before you drop all that cash.

I already checked the whole car, cause I'm a mechanic, and there are no other problems with it.

I got my 95 GS 5-speed for 3k, all it really needed was some door handles. 150k miles though. Other then that no problems. So I'd talk the guy down a little bit.
