gut cat

will i lose power if i gut my cat out of my 420a engine...

mods are

cai intake, greddy catback 2.5 inch, ngk plugs wires

stage 2 clutch, shortshiffter,

dropped with coilovers

need help asap.. want 2 do it asap thats why thanx guys

the cat is the most restrictive part of your exhaust! you will definately notice it! have you ever looked through a cat before? they can be drilled out easily or you can just run a straight pipe for cheap. with a header and your mods, you should be quick for a n/t

Well, you could gut the cat, but wouldn't it just be easier to go , and get a test pipe made at the local muffler shop?

since replacing a damaged cat is more expensive? especially when you have to smog it?

hell yea... imma go and buy that testpipe at racingpipes.com ... they have them for 4g63 too....
