Does anybody know who is currently selling the mechanical timing belt tensioner for the 420A, the one which replaces the stock hydraulic tensioner?

Part# 48011 on RockAuto.com, includes pulley.

I believe modern performance has it as well.

I installed one about 2 weeks ago. It was an easy install, but my engine faces front to rear, not transverse. I have twisted the engine to 7500 twice since then on the dyno and had no problems with the mechanical tensioner.

Good to hear! I am going to switch out to one in the next month or so when I swap my new head on.

Just an update to keep it current, for anyone else purchasing this conversion with race belt.

Rockauto has to piece this kit together with shipping is $240

Modern performance ships complete kit for $175

I've done a lot of searching around and those are your options for the conversion kit as other sites have discontinued the kit.

Here are the install instructions too incase anyone needs them in the future. These are the ones from the PCI kit.

I bought mine at modern performance and installed it June 2013. It was 1 million times easier than the hydraulic tensioner.
