My car is making an annoying sound coming from behind and below the timing belt. It is really loud untill about 3500 rpms. I have taken the air silencer off but it doesnt seem like that was the problem. There is also a ticking noise in my engine too. Can anyone tell me what these are?

Ticking is usually lifters. Make sure you have enough Oil flowing. It's possible that the annoying sound is from bad gears in a failing oil pump and the lifters aren't getting enough oil...causing the tick.

I had the same sort of buzzing (if thats what your noise is) coming from the front end. It turned out to be the heat shield on the exhaust downpipe, then entire thing needed to be replaced, after which the noise ceased.

the ticking is definatly lifters mine do that do next time you change your oil get a bottle of lucas at the auto parts store and use about 30-50% of that and it might stop, the other noice i dont know i had a noise coming from same area and it turned out that it was a tensioner and it broke and pretty much ruined my life for a couple months so get it checked out boss.

the ticking noise on mine was the lash adjusters and this went on for a month or two, then my engine threw the main and crank bearings.
