My stock pile is missing something

So I've pretty much got enough parts here to build two performance motors. You name it I've got it. With the exception of drivetrain components. Before I dive into that I wanted to see if any of you have heard of this AWD mod on the 420a?

There is a guy out in AZ right now working on it but won't tell me anything about it.

With an Evo8 tranny? Not sure you know that the 420a is on the wrong side.
Which engine are you talking about making awd? on a 2g right?

FYI, if he won't tell you anything about it he must be a dick.

Actually, it's on the same side as far as Evo motors go.

the transmissions in turbo dodges are similar to those found in the neon, I think they may even share the same bolt pattern. If the 420A in the DSM shares these features, this may be slightly easier than dropping an evo engine in there...

The guy is 60 yrs old but you wouldn't be able to tell by his motivation to build things. Anyway, he had a fully built turbo 420a and wanted to "take it to the next level" he says. He did leave me a clue as to what he was going to do but I lost the email.

Well turns out I found that he had purchased a few small odds and ends from an evo drivetrain. Voila! I think we have an idea. I'm trying to get him to give me a few photos of the work so far, but he's pretty insistent on keeping things top secret.

Damn that would be an expensive AWD swap, I would think the only time you see an EVO8/9 rear end is when someone totals their car.
