my ride burns mass oil

If you or a previous owner drove the car hard and it has 125k plus miles on it, I would bet money that your rings are fried... You can run a compression test, but there's a test you can do to determine whether it's rings or valves:

here's the test:
When checking your cylinder compression, open up your throttle and remove your spark plugs. The compression of your cylinders shouldn't be less than 70% of the highest. Do this test with 4 "puffs" of the cylinder. If the car is normal it will build up compression quickly and evenly to the specified compression (sorry I don't know what that is). If the rings are bad then compression will be low on the first stroke and then will tend to build up on following strokes, but doen't reach the specified compression amount. Add into the cylinder aproximately 3 squirts from a oil plunger, if the compression improves considerably then you can bet that your problem is you rings.
IF your vavles are bad, then your compression will be low on the first stroke and then doesn't tend to build up compression, and if the addition of oil into the cylinder doesn't improve compression.

Alright, nice test's guy's and if he wasn't burning so much oil I would agree to do it, but lets face the facts right now = You're engine needs a rebuild.

Cleaning it won't help it like a rebuild will. I am sorry to dis anyone in here, but if you want to stop oil problems, you need to get rid of the old, and come in with the new.

A cheaper way to do this though, since it's a first generation is get a Japanese exchange. I fell into these prices:

1.8 - 650
2.0 NT -855
2.0 T - 1,200.

I did the rebuild, and I am sorry I done it already. The money I have spent is almost past what I could have bought for a 2.0 NT, and since I know lots about these car's I could have done the wiring harness. As for you, if you have this problem, seriously think of what you want to do. I will let you know from 1st hand, a Japanese exchange, is like out of your bay in a day, and back in your car in 2 days ;)

Those are prices in Utah, for our Japanese Engine Exchanges. My friend got his 2.0 NT for 855 including new timing belt/balance shaft belt.

It doesn't come with though:

Alternator
Power steering
AC
Pulleys
Intake Manifold
Exhaust Manifold
Water hook up onto the head

You have to change your crank/cam sensor off your valve cover if your 2.0 and put your old one on.

the 1.8 doesn't come with a distributor.

Also online, at Ebay.com, they have a Japanese Exchange 2.0 NT 4G63 for 850 Buy now. Pretty cool huh?

My car burns oil Like a mother to..But it dont smoke and it has massive power..I replaced the valve guides a massive experiance and it still does it..Then I put Denso Iridium plugs abd 8mm accel wires on it and it stopped doing it.Weird stuff
