Mr. Talon

i have a stock exhaust apart from my magnaflow race series muffler. i have gutted the cat, but am wondering if a stright pipe would be a better choice. I have noticed a ringing sound in my exhaust, is this because of the air swirling around in the different shaped cat? will a stright pipe that replaces the gutted cat give better performance, and stop that ringing? i apreciate u taking ur time to read this and helkp me out!

I would do it if i was you, I did it to my car and i dont have a problem with any noises. I have straight pipe all the way back to my APC muffler. Its illegal here and you cant get a inspection sticker but i can at some places.
