I wanted to know what the difference between short ram and cold air intakes were. From the name, I assume that cold air intakes somehow get cold air, while short rams get short rams into your engine. ha! Seriously, does that mean that short ram intakes only suck in hot air?

well I'm gonna hackmy stock airbox. I think i read somewhere that you can connect some tubing onto the stock box and route the tubing downwards in order to suck in cooler air. you ever haeard of this?

I hope you plan on using a filter with that. Personally unless you plan on going turbo down the road I really would go ahead and spring for the AEM. If you do you should either go the cheap ebay route or make your own out of PVC piping.
