ROLL CAGE from 1g to 2g

I just had a question will i be able to put this roll cage since its cheap as hell on my 2g 97 eclipse or wil it not work? i search for 2g roll cages but i dont want to get riped off since sometimes they dont even send the things you order on some sites and at least with even i am using pay pal and in case i dont get the roll cage i can get my money back. I am willing to spend 300 and maybe 400 bucks for one any recomendations?

You should e-mail the vendor dsmparts.com and see what they say about it. I doubt it'll fit in a 2g without some modifications though Could probably be made to work however if you have someone who can cut and weld, I'm sure it wouldn't be too much trouble to get it put in.

FWIW, I think you're going about installing a roll cage completely wrong. Cages are not meant to look cool, they're meant to keep you SAFE. Buying an ebay kit or sh!trigging some twisted pile of metal pipes to fit one car to another is NOT safe and it is NOT advised. That being said, even these kits (specifically 'premade' ones) will be tough to install to even an experienced pro. I'm not saying all (as always), but there are several reports of sub$1000 cages fitting like crap and end up causing the owner to spend more money than it would if it was a custom cage to begin with. goodluck.

I know my buddy had an autopower cage in his integra and was very happy with it. It was ready to bolt in and could be welded if needed. I'd look into those if your looking for a nice rollbar/cage.
