mount pearl,
My car is turbocharged, with a Walbro 255lph fuel pump and Accel 36lb/hr fuel injectors. From a stop, when I accelerate, I can boost to 11psi before backfiring and bogging. While moving, everything seems to work fine.

I have 8.X:1 pistons if that has anything to do with it. It seems to me that I'm maybe not getting enough fuel. I put a gauge on the fuel rail and I'm reading 55psi at idle. I am still waiting for my AFC to arrive: it should be here next week.

ok boosting warlbro 250 fuel pump with axcel 36 lb injectors , when from stop hit the gas and the turbo gets up to 11psi then backfires and it seems like i am dead in the water compleat bog out, yet when i am moving and boost its fine . could it be my fuel . o yea i do have the internals done 8.1 . or could this be something else if so what. or do i maby have a loss of fuel or baby to much put a gauge on my fuel rail and its 55psi at idle.
it seems to me that maby i am not getting enough fuel for the amount of air . i am still waiting on my afc it should be here next week till then could i be right

Sounds Like fuel cut possibly? Do you have the Missing link or FCD on your MAP sensor?

Dude no offense but you need to RE-write that or something so we can read it. You were talking about a baby at one point?!?! hahahaha

:talon:

sorry about the wording LOL i have a missing link installed ,just tested fuel pressure and when i rev it , it spikes to 70 psi then drops to 10psi this was done at idle.

What are you using for fuel management? Did you just throw bigger injectors and a Walbro 255 in there and hope for the best? You need something to control all of these new parts: the stock PCM won't cut it and neither will an AFC. You either need an FMU/S-FMU or something more capable.

Also, please remember our spelling/grammar rules. I took mercy on you and fixed your first post, but you'll need to shape up or risk getting an infraction.

Please take a look at the forum in which you're posting... the 420A doesn't suffer the same problems as the 4G63. Our FPR's aren't overrun as easily and an AFPR is only used in conjunction with a fuel injector control unit or complete standalone engine management unit.

i am using a fmu (ajustable one with a screw when i tighten it preasure on the rail increases) i have it on the end of my fuel rail and it is set at idle 55psi . Is this right
