Tial Wastegate Question

Kinda stupid question about the install of the TIAL wastegate but I may be wrong. I have the WG installed so the treaded holes are against the manifold, and then the valve is facing out to the dump tube. Is that wrong? All the pics I've seen all have it where the TIAL logo is facing out straight up toward you like this.

And yes I know the center section is reversed in that pic. That's been fixed.

Yes, that's wrong. The valve needs to face the manifold.

Damn. So the threaded section goes to the dump tube then right? I just find that weird.

Yes, the section you have it bolted to, goes to the dump tube. You bolt the bottom of the wastegate to the manifold
