Don't flame on me because im probably asking a question asked times before, I have been doing searching for a while on the forums for an exhaust and still kind of confused and only seen answers for gst's and gsx catback exhausts

I want to get a catback exhaust which has a deep sound(not sounding ricey either) to it but also at the same time not bee to expensive i don't want to spend more than 300 and i have been looking at ebay at this exhaust system and is it good?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ECLIPSE-95-96-97-98-99-GS-RS-TSUDO-N1-CATBACK-EXHAUST_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33630QQihZ011QQitemZ320110243668QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

also i kind of confused of the diamaters and will it bolt on or will i have to do some modification to my stock exhaust Im a newbie at this???

I hear the thermal r&d is good but i cant seem to find one for my gs?

From the cat back, GST's and NT's have the same pipe routing. Any exhaust for the GST will fit an NT. Cat-back exhausts are made to bolt in place of the old exhaust, no modification needed. (Most of the time)

As far as diameters, the larger the diameter, the more it can flow, at the expense of velocity. (which helps in low rpm scavenging) The smaller the pipe, the higher the velocity, the better the low end scavengin, but will have less potential flow.

Without a turbo, IMO a 3" exhaust will only add noise. I would go 2.5", possibly even 2.25".

Tsudo generally gets a lot of good reviews, but most eBay exhausts are alright. I have a 2.5" stainless steel cat-back with an "N1" style muffler. I think it sounds alright, cost me $190 shipped from japanimportshop on eBay.

Try over at 2gnt.com in the marketplace section. I got my DC sports 4-2-1 header, cat, magnaflow exhaust for 390 shipped. They usually have good deals on there so check that out some time. The exhaust itself was 190.
