I installed a Apexi AFC NEO today, with no problems at all. Problem is that I have no idea how to set it. hahaha. I wanted to just get it put on before I go up to get it tuned in a few weeks. I followed the basic instruction, but when I start the car is runs so rich that it hardly runs and is in no shape to drive at all....which is no good any tips ????

Do you have an SFMU? If not, that is your problem right there. I looked in your profile and saw a Walbro 255 and bigger injectors. Do you have anything else?

REad this article found in our lovely tech guide....

Should help you with your set up for your neo even though its for the SAFC and SAFC2....

P.S. If your gonna continue running that 12:1 FMU, you should really put your stock injectors back in otherwise, you are going to need to use a SFMU to run with those bigger injectors...and what size are they?

Says 550cc injectors. Those are way to big to be paired with a regular FMU. Like Rand said, you need to put your stock injectors back in or go with an SFMU instead.

Good luck with the SAFC. It modifies the MAP signal to the ECU. How's that work when the MAP signal is being clamped by your FCD under boost? Oh, that's right. It's not.

SAFC on 2GNT is a complete waste of money.

Okay here are some options that your going to have to research on your own.

Megasquirt + 440ccinjectors or bigger + 1:1 fuel pressure regulator

Hahn's porterfueler + stock injectors + secondary injectors based on what your trying to accomplish.

SFMU + 440cc-550cc injectors

I'll let you research them for yourself, but if you do the research you should be able to figure out what is best for your ability and finace, and overall goal of the car....no matter what you do the 12:1 FMU is going to have to take a hike, because your only really supposed to use that with the stock injectors and those only go up to about 9psi give or take a 1lbs based on your turbo. Besides if your going to be running that much boost, you dont' want your fuel pressure to be way off the charts, its already high enough from 5psi to 8psi.
