hey guys been a long time since I ran my car on the 1/8th again! BUT the cars actually running great.

The last time i ran the 1/8th my times were about 10.4 at about 66MPH with a 60Ft of 2.3! Now I did a tuneup of my car, new tires, new suspension. Last night I ran again and my times were SLOWER! I coudnt hook the car up for crap my fastest time was:

Time - 10.8
0 - 60 - 2.6 :toobad:

BUT MPH = 71 MPH!!! I ran 8 times all of my MPH was around 70-71!

Has anyone clocked that fast in the 1/8?? and if possible i get my 0-60s down my car can hit MID-15's in the 1/4?? Based on the info that im clocking around 70-71 on the 1/8??
BTW this is ALL STOCK ALL MOTOR

Sounds like you just had a really good run.. My fastest N/A was 10.1, which I only made once.

There are alot of things that contribute to times you put down tire tread is a big one, launch style, clutch wear, etc..

The more you spin (off the line, or hitting other gears) will cause you to have a higher MPH.

A friend of mine drives a '04 Mustang GT and would spin all the way down the track. His MPH would be like in the 80's running high 8's. He bought some drag slicks and his MPH dropped to 70's and was running 8.0's and 8.1's.

That's not how it works. If you lose traction your mph is going to be lower. Your friend in the Mustang probably bogged his launch pretty bad with the slicks, and that caused his low mph.
