car dosent get gas all the time

I replaced the head on my Talon. The head I put on had no fuel return line, so I installed the fuel rail from the other head, just to be safe. Now my car dosent get the gas it needs; does it has a bad fuel presure regulator or could it be something with the new fuel rail ?

Fuel rail from other head?! Your description doesn't make much sense. The fuel rail mounts to the intake manifold, which is also where the fuel return line is as well. Please read over your post and give us a better description so that we can help you out.

TalonESIT is right, the fuel rail should have stayed with the intake manifold.


Your probably didn't hook everything up correctly if you had to change the two.

First of all, how do you know it's not getting all the "gas it needs"? Fuel pressure gauge, AF gauge?

My bet is that it's not hooked up correctly. Look at the uppermost picture in this diagram. That's how your fuel system should be set up.
