Ok guys so i had to cut off my exhaust on my car right about the the ful filter is but on other side. I'm running a 2.5in catback but had no muffler just finished putting my muffler and pipe back on and i feel like i have an increase in tourqe. Does this sound right to anyone? i was thinking with running just the 2.5in pipe with no muffler was to much air flow but not sure.:talon:

Possibly... I wouldn't expect much extra torque in the lower range of RPMs, but higher up, it's a possibility.

As for the muffler, think of it this way: most of those "high performance" mufflers out there are straight-through designs. That means they really don't obstruct the exhaust gases at all - they just dampen the sound a little. Thus, I wouldn't expect there to be any performance difference between a straight pipe and say... a Tsudo or Apex'i N1, just a difference in dB.
