i was just wondering what everyone else is using. I had Bosch +4 in my car but switched to NGK's (the v shaped ones). Honestly, i did not notice any difference in perfrormance. If anything, it seems to have gotten a lil slower, but that can be me.. Anyne have an opinion on this???
thanx
Paul
i also noticed the gap on this is a lil too large, .044.. what do you guys think???

Nope 1g NT should have a .44 gap I'm pretty sure. Look under the hood on the sticker and it tells you. I run the NGK 6 something and they are good.

They won't change performance, just keep that engine running smooth. But the one thing you should change is the gap .44 is a little too much. The cars manual says for none turbo a max .43.

Changing plugs can cause a performance difference. Last time I was at the track I made my first pass on a set of BPR6ES'. I got a slight misfire at the very top of 3rd and 4th. The datalogger showed just a little knock, which was expected, but nothing unusual. I installed a new set of BPR7ES' and the mis/sputter at the top end dissapeared. No other changes, just new plugs. Both sets were gapped at .028".

That's probably because your other plugs where starting to crap out. I kill plugs (bpr7es) from two trips at the track. Then they start to missfire at high boost.

Nope, both sets of plugs were new. It was an experiment to see the difference between the 6's and 7's. Obviously I'm going to keep using the 7's. Do you destroy plugs off the bottle as quick as when you're running Nitrous?

They may last three visits at the track instead of two off the botle. Not really much longer.
