hi

i am going to buy a 14B turbo for my car a 1991 eclipse GS (1993 GS engine inside). the reason is that my dad is monitoring what mods go on my car and he doesnt want me flying down the street with a humongous turbo. i figured this is a good turbo that will get me used to driving with one. my dad has an eclipse GST and it very different than my car.

on to the point. what new parts will i need if i get this turbo? i know eBay is not a tuning article library but i was looking through their for sale items for 1g eclipses and i saw several items that got me thinking.

will i need an intercooler for my car? will it make a difference if i use a cold air intake FOR a turbo versus an cold air intake NOT FOR a turbo? will i need a new O2 housing or sensor? is there anything i missed?

by the way, at this time i have no supporting mods. i am planning to, around christmas time, purchase a cold air intake (type dependent on turbo or not), new plugs and wires, and maybe struts or something else small. what would you recommend?
please help me solve this problem. thanks!

I'd love to see you bolt on your turbo to your existing exhaust manifold with no O2 sensor housing. Forget about the intercooler for now cause you have a lot of reading to do. I'd suggest starting here...http://www.howstuffworks.com/engine.htm

then go to

http://www.howstuffworks.com/turbo.htm

Then stop by the above link to understand the concept of turbos to the 4G63 powerplant. I thought I had this whole deal planned out with the turbo kit but everyday I learn something new about it. You have a long way to go, no offence, but with time you can understand it.
