with exhaust does it really matter what the name is? i know everyone says that the paceter sucks but the greddy exhaust i way too much money.so i was wondering if those catback exhaust on ebay were any good like the obx cat back and N1 style exhaust on ebay.

I have the obx racing with an obx cat and I love them.
I think it is just what you want out of your car. I know Im not going full blown racing, I will probably go to the track five times in a summer. So I went with the obx that is cheaper that let say APexi, greddy. I just want to be fast on the street just to show up some hondas and ricers. The less you spend on one thing the more you can buy.

Most no name brands are trying to make money on the fact that a lot of Import/consumers want a loud, deep mellow sounding muffler. There are a lot of bumble bee noisemakers out there so beware. Usually you can find a good one on ebay, but the better ones are at least $100 or more. You have to be really careful not to buy a bumblebee sounding one.
Also if you will get tired of hearing a loud exhaust all the time make sure you get one with a silencer. I had a Weapon R on my Toyota Celica and it sounded MEAN and LOUD, but sometimes the noise would get on my nerves on the highway at 80mph. Boy was it LOUD Just keep that in mind when you buy one without a silencer.
I have seen OBX name brand on ebay for $40.00 and they had a silencer. OBX mufflers/cat-backs sound exactly like a real tuner car should!!! I bought my Weapon R SPL cat-back off of ebay from a private owner for $40.00.......$55.00 with shipping. It is great. You just have to keep looking and be patient with the purchase. watch out for the no name brands, they may sound terrible and you will be disappointed.
