Could anyone give me a detailed list of all the parts I would need to do a 4G63T swap in a NT 1G Eclipse. I just want to make sure I have all the parts.

Mike

I have a 2.0 liter. I have a 92 Eclipse GS
I'm going to do a swap with a 4G63T - the turbo 4G63 engine

i would try to check the wrecking yards first and buy a whole car that way you have all you need as far as parts and ease of install.you can buy a jspec engine but its not gonna with an ecu so youll have to buy a stand-alone and merge it to youre ignition.

I can get my hands on an ECU. I was just curious what other parts I would need to make the swap. I know it would be simple to by a turbo model car, but that would take a lot of the fun out of it for me. If you can give me a list of parts I need so I can check it with my list, please do so. If you're going to suggest I buy a trubo model, you don't need to repeat what I've heard already. I know it is an option. I would like to do it this way though. You know what they say, to each his own. So, if you can help me, please do. Thanks a lot.

gigi,
I tried looking for front clips at my local Pick'n'Pull, but the turbo models had been stripped clean. the block and parts of the trany were left, but other than that, it was slim pickings. I've been making some calls, and I haven't found anyone locally who can say what kind of shape their junker engines are in. As for the ECU, I know where I can get one from a dealer for pretty cheap, plus, some I saw one at Pick'n'Pull. Just a quick disconnect and tuck and it's hidden until I need it. Thanks for the suggestion though. It would be great if I could find a front clip. Thanks.
