I was wondering how hard of a job is it to install rods and pistons in a 420a engine, i have heard it is a #@%#@%#@%#@%#@%, are there any refrances that i could go to get this info, any advice would help, thanks

yeah if you don't know a lot about it then I would'nt do it. I used to rebuild chevy and ford motors and there are a lot of measurments and skill that you have to know to do it correctly.

if you got the tools, and somebody who KNOWS what they're doing, it can be done in about 10-15 hrs. i've done it, it's a very simple engine to work on. if you want a crash course on it pm me and i'll hook you up.
