GS-T Turbos on my Rs??????????????

OK now i know this guy who says he can get me the turbo and all the necessary stuff to hook up the turbo off a 99 GST to my 97 RS. Now with all the stuff is this possible? Will it give me more power then a stock GST. I realize i wont be able to run the boost level too high but will it still work. This guy is pretty reliable and he says he can do it for cheap but i dunno.Is it worth the try?

I've posted this before....

T25 is #@%#@%#@%#@%.
2G intercooler I have heard is harder to fit on our cars than a 1G. They are $30-75 anyway.
2G BOV is #@%#@%#@%#@%.
Manifold would be replaced.
Can't use much or any piping.
Can't use downpipe.
Still need fmu, fuep pump, fcd, downpipe, manifold, way more than $1000.

you "could' do it but it would require a lot of custom work like a custom exhaust manifold, harnesses, intercooler piping, all that good stuff. It is a lot more work than most people would think, basically you would be building your own brand new turbo kit, with a turbo that doesn't put out that much power.

Don't do it. I know those kits are mega expensive, but you'll thank yourself in the end. You car will have much more potential that way.

i was going down that road once, but it was too hard. good luck though hope it turns out.
