Plug wires

I have a 94 gs 2.0 and am wondering how often the plug wires shound be changed and what are some signs that it needs it. Also what is a good high performance wire. Thanks for the help

Change them before 30k miles to be safe. I like msd wires. My accels work poorly now, i wish i still had my msd's

I have ngk plugs and wires ($48) and they are great. I have no problem with the power/gas mileage. Thats one thing you'll notice if you plugs are bad. Usually you'll get worse gas milage and loss of power- possibly some backfiring. Thats my 2¢
