when is the new star turbo kit supposed to come out? Has anybody heard any news about it?

Yeah star's directions are rather funny.

1. Install manifold
2. Install turbo.
3. Install downpipe.
4. Install intercooler.
5. Install intercooler piping.
6. Install fuel pump.
7. Install FMU.
8. Done.

We have the STAR and HRC instructions online for you who are wondering.

Got some info, it is basically gonna be a new kit, it will contain a larger core FMIC, tubular manifold, Tial wastegate, Tial bov, Garrett Ballistic Concepts ball bearing turbo, which by the way is state-of -the-art! Hell, its basically the NER kit now. Supposedly you can call Wyatt and order this new kit from him now, Im just wondering how much all of this will cost.

Here is a pic of the new intercooler (its on the bottom, the old one is on the top)

well I just got this letter from Wyatt, enjoy!
Yes,
We have made another Turbo system, redesigned is and understatement though. We have not released any information simply because we have not done enough testing and finalizing the actual 'look' and options of the turbo systems.
Quick changes are
1. Optional 3.5" deep intercooler 8" hieght
2. Individual runner cast iron manifold, heat treated to keep 75% of the heat inside the manifold.
3. Optional Cold air intake for either Stage I or Stage II Turbo
Systems
4. Boost dependant Fuel Controller (not High fuel pressure)
5. Optional Ignition control (for later stages)
6. Full Downpipe to cat WITH flex section 2.5"
7. Turbo XS BOV Type H (Stage I or II, BOV upgrade optional)
8. Tial 38mm Wastegate
9. T3/T4 Garrett Ballistics Turbo
10. Fog lights will now fit for GS models
22. Re-plumbed IC piping uses 7 Bends instead of 11 from old design.

The major differences are with the heat treated manifold and the flow characteristics we achieved with the new manifold.
Also, being able to adjust fuel control by boost is a major step in the right direction, as apposed to people running high fuel pressure and burning up their motor because the injectors don't respond. The new ballistics Turbo we are using is still under testing but so far responds great with no lag.

so does stars price when compared to hahns.

lets not turn this into a star vs hahn thread, there are more then enough of those. This thread is to discuss the upcoming changes to STARs 420A turbo kits.

and

4. Boost dependant Fuel Controller (not High fuel pressure)
I assume means the fuel pump will pump more gas when needed instead of a constant pump of fuel, which would extend the life of the pump
