why does my Check Engine light sometimes come on, ive noticed that it sometimes is on for 2 mins max then goes out but lately its been staying on for awhile.. LOL i dunno wtf its doin OMG
 
Check out what code your throwing and let us know. It should answer your question. Read up on doing "keydances"

Try searching for that. 2gnt has a page of codes and instructions.
 
You probably just got a vaccum line that might be dry cracked and air is being absorbed by a sensor. Mine did the same thing and I got worried. I took it to a ASE shop and diagnostic test showed that my vaccum line on the Intake was leaking too much air to the sensor. Small incident but when I saw the Check Engine sign I got worried. Got it fixed though.
