Head/Block Comaptability

Im doing a couple turbo ktis for some people and also selling a block from my 1997 GS . Now this guy says he thinks the numbers on the head from his 95 GS need to match up wiht my 97 GS block is this true or is a 420A a 420A anyyear. Thanks

95-99 RS/GS 420A is interchangeable. Same engine, no worries. I have a 95 head with a 99 block right now on mine.

The 95 420a heads were made from a weaker casting than the 96-99 heads
