Thumbs up

The mission is on! =D

Allright the mission for my homemade/custom exhuast starts tommorow morning....ok for a 18 inch 2 1/2(inner diameter) piping its 4.95 at a local advace auto part store i figure ill need about 3 of them for the middle straight piece( no cat...Should i keep my resonator on??????) then a few 45 degree curves should do they run about 3 bucks a piece but theyre not mandrel bent :thumbdown but ill live with it. I really dont have money right now for a nice after market muffler HOw would the bigger piping do with the stock muffler? Or hell should i just not run a muffler ?

One more thing how loud would my car be with the 2.5 exhuast with no cat and no muffler and maybe no resonator ive only got 40 bucks i can spend till i get paid next week...What are your guys opinons/comments?

note:All i got is a cai.

It will be LOUD as hell with no cat or muffler....

Hell even with no cat AND a muffler its going to be loud. I would check out Magnaflow mufflers, there cheap, look good, preform well, and have a nice deep sound to them with my 2.5" exaust. The stock muffler will be to constrictive i beleve for a 2.5", it wouldnt be worth it.

At the local auto store theres a oval type high flow muffler the kind that doenst go at the end of ## exhaust for only 20.00(kinda like this one> http://www.partsamerica.com/PartDeta...egoryCode=3333 should i just buy that for now till i get paid? Will my exhuast be loud at easy throttle without the cat, muffler, and resonator or just at open throttle?

Take a look at the Tsudo N1 that GSgoing fast picked up on the thread above. He said he got a good deal on it for $190, so thats about the price of an AEM cold air intake, and it might save you the trouble of putting in the work on this now and getting one later. I beleive GSgoing fast had a custom exhaust before he just got his new one. So he'd be perfect to talk about this. And dont' forget the GST exahust from a junk yard, its really cheap.
