Hey guys,
i'm getting rid of my eclipse GST 95 because i need some money, anyways i'll be getting a 2 door mitsubishi mirage from 95 i am going to do a 4g63 swap building on the N/T motor 4g63 JDM engine and making it turbo(cheaper), anyways i was thinking of running it N/A for a while, is there any potential on the engine running aspirated?

The mirage chasis is fairly light and i am looking for 14's on the N/A engine.

I plan to put in a regulator, eliminate B/S shafts, put in turbo cams port exhaust manifold, swap in the turbo throttle body. What other things can i do?
Is it possible? I'm just checking cause if not i'll just go turbo.

Also does anyone know if the N/T JDM block is less strong than the turbo??
What are the weaker parts of this engine if i'm swapping in turbo parts??
I heard something about running 8-9 psi, that's way low.(i plan to swap 2g turbo pistons)

Well thanks

well you got ecus, manifolds, pistons, knock sensors, alot is actually different.

1 making it cheaper isnt cheaper then getitn a turbo motor in the long run, 2 turbo throttle body is smaller then us. turbo is 60mm if i remember correctly. n/a tb is 64mm stock, the blocks are the exact same in the us blocks as the turbo blocks but ares arent tapped for the oil squirters. if you go forged internals you dont need squirters on a block. forged can take it and them some.

the n/a motor i have been able to get to 250hp in figured and specs. im building the setup this winter and hopefully havign it doen some time next summer. the n.a moitor can have a lot of potential if there were mre n/a specific parts for it. it still has the potential and the plan i have puts out 250 without nitrous. then drop a 150 shit on it. yea its got some beef :thumb:
