Okay, I just put my new exhaust on yesterday and it looks/sounds great. I drove it around for the rest of the night and it was great but when I went to school this morning the check engine light came on and it's still on. OMG

I'm hoping it may be something as minor as my O-2 sensor being loose but this along with my "oil problem" (different thread) has me quite nervous. :|

Again, any help you all could give would be very much appreciated.

can't help you with out more info. go to auto zone they'll do a reading on your check engine light for free. but my guess would be that it is a lose o2 sensor. hope thats it.

 Yeah, unfortunately that's all the info I really have. The car seems to run okay, but the check engine light just has me paranoid. Well thanks anyways everyone. :thumb:

If you can't find the problem you could always pull the lightbulb out. mine wouldnt turn off after a rebuilt engine was installed and I'v had no problem. Just a last resort suggestion

check your pmc codes yourself, its quick and easy

To check the PCM codes, insert the key into the ignition and switch the key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON within a 5 sec. time period. Then count the Engine light flashes. The number of flashes represents the trouble code. There is a slight pause between the flashes representing the first and second digits of the code. Longer pauses separate indivdual trouble codes. All codes will end with 55 which signifies End of Codes / No detected failure.

let us know what you get from there and we can help you better :thumb:
