on my wifes 95 talon esi it just dont have the get up and go ok here some of the things that i noticed

1. when you put the pedal to the floor there aint much foot travel before it hits the floor.

2. when you mash the throttle it takes off slowly then all of a sudden it decides to take off

what could it be where should i look first. thought about looking or cleaning the tps but not sure what side of the throttle body its on. help

you may want to do that TB throttle line mod, or at least look to see. take off your intake pipe, and have someone push the throttle down all the way. see if the tb is opening all the way. if it is, then check the throttle line to see if theres any slack. you can tighten or loosen it by loosening the 2 bolts on the gold throttle plate thats right above the intake mani. just follow the throttle line and you will see it. thats one thing to check. maybe also check if your filter is dirty and needs changing? just throwing out some ideas here.

could a cloged converter do this too. it was burning oil for over a yr before it got fixed thinking of getting gutted or at least gut and put a straight pipe through it.
