Does a non turbo car use a downpipe to go from the header to the cat or not? I know I sound stupid, probably because I am. I figured that the hedman headers would bolt right onto the cat... but i realize you need some stress relief, so... yeah, my question is wheather or not my car uses a downpipe, and if it does, what would be a good one to go from a hedman stepped header to a stock bolt on high flow cat?

1) 4 cylinder cars have a header, not headers (not that im being picky

2) Technically its not a downpipe as it is a flex-pipe

anyways so yes , most header's actually will come with a flex-pipe, if not you can always get one custom made (muffler shop to do pipig have them weld 2 flanges at the end then bolt the sucker on

bwahaha copy that, ya man what you paying $700 for a header for? you can get the greddy one for $315. plus what are you gonna get from it, 1 or 2 horsepower. definatly dont spend $700 on a header!!!

hedman stepped HTC coated headers cost alot... and they look pretty... but mostly because of the HTC coat, without the coat the hedman stepped headers are still 400 bux.

don't buy a 400$ header, if you want to see some gains for $700 save and buy a turbo kit, or buy a wet kit ($500) and a cheaper header ($200)
