I was Lookin around for a cold air intake and the auto shop said there wasnt a intake for my car and that i had to do all this stuff and i have seen them on cardomain so i was just wondering if anyone knows were i could get one or what i need to do for it........

There is no cold air intake made for a 4g63 n/a DSM period. Folks have custom made theirs, but there is no cold air intake for our cars. There are several intake options for our cars. Injen makes an excellent intake that mounts the air filter out of the way of much of the hot engine air. A recommendation would be to run an open aircan, remove the gallon jug thing from under the snorkel (where the intercooler on a turbo would be), and build a heatshield around the aircan to keep the hot engine air away from it. The 2nd gen n/a DSM's have cold air intakes available, but since they use a completely different engine (420a), those intakes would not fit on your vehicle. Also any cold air intake for a turbo charged car wouldn't fit either since the intake is in a different location than on the n/a 4g63.
